Holy Land Christian tours for Catholic pilgrim and study groups:

Immanuel Tours has rich experience in looking after Catholic pilgrim groups to the Holy Land, handling pilgrimage tours for catholic groups from the USA, Canada, Europe and Africa, going back more than 30 years. Three of the more prominent groups and individuals we have handled during those years are as follows:

  • A group from Vienna with a seminar of priests (Wiener Priesterseminar) led by His Emminence Cardinal Koenig of Austria.
  • Annual pilgrimage tours organized by Kolpingwerk, Cologne, for a period of more than 15 years and led by the former Generalpraeses, Prelate Heinrich Festing.
  • The annual pilgrimage tours of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria with the General Secretary Rev. Fr. George Ehusani.

For Catholic groups traveling with a priest we are able to arrange for the daily celebration of Holy Mass in the shrines of Jerusalem, Nazareth, Bethlehem and in the Basilica of the Transfiguration on Mt. Tabor. These arrangements are made in collaboration with the Christian Information Center, Jerusalem.

Apart from accommodations in hotels of the various categories we are able to accommodate groups in Catholic houses such as the Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center, the Guesthouse of the Pope, the Sisters of Zion Hospice located on the Via Dolorosa in the Old City of Jerusalem, other hospices in Nazareth and throughout the country.

Immanuel Tours can arrange for lectures in the hotels by qualified people from all walks of life and on almost any subject whether religious or secular.

For Christian pilgrim groups, which so wish, Immanuel Tours is able to arrange for a Franciscan Priest, knowledgeable with the 15 Stations of the Cross, to accompany the group on the Friday procession in Jerusalem and additionally to provide the pilgrims with crosses to carry for this memorable occasion.

Special arrangements can be made to visit archeological sites during your Holy Land tour, such as the Hasmonean Tunnel in Jerusalem, the Burnt House, the Pool of Siloam, the Gihon Spring as well as spending a day at an archaeological dig.

We would be pleased to “tailor make” an Holy Land tour itinerary for your particular group or you may want to make do with our standard 9-day Israel tour itinerary which you will find in the pages of this website.

A beautiful pilgrim certificate, exclusive to Immanuel Tours, inscribed with the name of the pilgrim is presented at a special ceremony on one of the last days of the Holy Land tour.
