About This Group

Over the years I have heard many people talk about how much they would love to travel to the Holy Land. They desire to walk where the Messiah walked, see where the Messiah spoke to the crowds, stand where He performed miracles, and swim in the sea where He calmed the storm. I also felt this strong desire for years but it was more than for the above reasons. My heart longed to return to the land of my forefathers. I used to tell people that I would probably be the last Jew ever to arrive in Israel. Praise God that He had other plans for me!

My first trip to Israel was exciting but the feelings I had within me made it surreal. I had a difficult time getting my brain wrapped around the fact that I was actually in Israel, The HOLY LAND! After arriving in Tiberius, I went to my hotel room and stood out on the balcony that overlooked the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). I couldn’t help but imagine Jesus (Yeshua) walking on the beautiful lake surrounded by the breathtaking mountains. I knew after this first encounter in Israel that I would never be the same. I knew that I had to tell everyone how important Israel and the Jewish people are to the rest of the world. AM Israel Tours was born in my heart on that trip.

Our desire is that it is not just a tour but also an experience that will change your life. Jesus (Yeshua) will return. He will reign over all the earth and He will do it from Israel. He will reign from Zion and His Torah will go out to the ends of the earth. People will come from all over and ask Him to teach them His ways! How exciting is that? How exciting would it be to stand in Jerusalem and see where the next Temple will be built and where He will reign? It is more than words could ever convey in this lifetime. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the very fact that you are showing a desire to travel to Israel.

I encourage you with all that is within me to discover your Jewish roots with me in Israel. Join us this next tour and experience the sites, the people and God’s Holy Land for yourself.

The Itinerary

Day 1 (Saturday)

Wow! Can you believe it? The day of our departure has finally arrived. The overnight flight from New York, NY to Tel Aviv will offer much needed rest from the hustle and bustle of getting to JFK. Now all we have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the flight.

Day 2 (Sunday)

The view as we approach Ben Gurion Airport is spectacular. The Mediterranean Sea is magnificent in beauty and in color. Now we can get up and stretch our legs for a while until we get on the bus for our journey to the hotel. We will then have a nice dinner and a good nights rest at our hotel in Netanya.

Day 3 (Monday)

After a delightful breakfast with fellow pilgrims we set off for Tiberius as we follow the Mediterranean northward. We will visit Caesarea Maritime where the Apostle Paul was imprisoned & then head off for Mt. Carmel where Elijah defeated the 450 prophets. Next we are off to Megiddo, the valley of Armageddon. Our next visit will be Nazareth, where Yeshua lived for the first 30 years of His life on earth, for a view of the city before driving back to our hotel via Cana. We will then have dinner and retire for the evening at the Ramot Resort Hotel.

Day 4 (Tuesday)

We will start the day with a hearty breakfast with our first stop of the day being Katzrin, the “Town of Golan”. We’ll then drive north to Tel Dan, which was the northernmost town of Biblical Israel. Banias, the location of Caesarea Philippi where the Apostle Peter made his great confession of faith in Yeshua as the Messiah, the Son of God. Our final destination of the day will by Korazim, and ancient city of ruins from the time of the Messiah.

Day 5 (Wednesday)

After our morning coffee and breakfast we will head over to Kfar Kedem, a moshav that recreates the day-to-day life of the ancient land. We’ll head over to the Sea of Galilee for a Boat Ride with Daniel Carmel, where we will enjoy a bit of praise and worship time. Next on the agenda is Capernaum, where Yeshua dwelt after He left Nazareth and did many signs and wonder, to visit the ancient synagogue and the nearby house of Peter. We will then drive around the shores of the Galilee to the Mt. of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Our last stop for the day will be Yardenit (Baptismal site) for those who want to be baptized.

Day 6 (Thursday)

This morning will start our journey towards Jerusalem, but our fist stop along the way will be the Jezreel Valley to a place called Ma’ayan Harod or Gideon’s Spring. This is where the LORD cut Gideon’s army down to a mere 300 men to fight against the Midianite army. Next site for us to see will be Beit She’an, an ancient Israeli city inherited by the tribe of Menasseh. Our hotel will be our next stop as we arrive to the view point overlooking Jerusalem, where will take photos.

Day 7 (Friday)

First thing, we will head on over to the Davidson’s Center, Shrine of the Book (where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display), Temple Model, & Yad V’Shem the Holocaust Museum. We will then visit the Garden Tomb & Golgotha. Our final and most exciting stop, the Kotel (the Western Wall) to pray and usher in the Shabbat (Sabbath), where we will join our Jewish brothers and sisters. Then we will head back to the hotel for Shabbat dinner and rest for the next day’s events.

Day 8 (Saturday)

After breakfast we will drive to the Mountain Fortress of Masada, which rises to the a height of 434 meters above the level of the Dead Sea. This is where the scene of the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in 73 AD at the conclusion of which the 900 defenders put themselves to death rather than fall into the hands of the enemy. We will ascend and descend by cable car to the top of Masada for a tour. Next will be Ein Gedi, which was one of the cities of Judah where David found shelter from King Saul. We will now visit the Qumran settlement where the Essenes, a Jewish sect, lived over 2000 years ago and wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. We will then head over to a spa on the Dead Sea to enjoy the sea’s mineral rich waters.

Day 9 (Sunday)

Our first item on the site agenda is one of my personal favorites, the Temple Institute, where we will view all the articles of clothing and items that have been recreated, according to the Bible for the next Temple. We will then go to the Mt. of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane. Next we will enter the old city by way of the Lion’s Gate and visit the Pools of Bethesda before walking on through the narrow streets of the city following the Via Dolorosa. We will continue our tour to Mt. Zion to the Upper Room and King David’s Tomb. Now it is back to the hotel to get ready for our farewell dinner.

Day 10 (Monday)

After eating our final breakfast in Jerusalem and checking out of our hotel, we will head back over to the Old City to the Cardo, the Jewish Quarter for some shopping and free time. We will eat lunch before heading over to the airport for our late afternoon departure to the US.
