The Ministry of Health this week finally gave us the news we’ve waited for for two years… Everyone is again welcomed back into Israel, vaccinated or unvaccinated!

It has been a very long and difficult season for everyone. We are happier than we can explain to finally see our groups, new and old return to the Promised Land.

So, what does this all mean for the future?

What is Required to Enter Israel?

While there is no longer a requirement for the vaccination in order to visit Israel, there are still other requirements still in effect.

– It is required that you take a test 72 hours prior to arrival in Israel that shows a negative test result.

– You will be required to fill out a health questionnaire. You may be asked if you have had the vaccine or any subsequent immunizations, but the answer will not be conditional to your entering Israel.

– Another test is required upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airpot. Once you take that test you are to proceed directly to the hotel and await your result. You are to stay at the hotel until your result is given. So far, our experience has been that the results are made available right away and this has not caused any delay in the starting of any itineraries.

– Depending on the country you are returning too, a test may be required at the end of your tour. We will assist in getting these tests scheduled.

It should be noted that all testing is at the expense of the participant. Please talk to your tour operator about these costs. We also suggest the insurance policy that we can add onto the tour for a very nominal fee that will cover all costs associated in the event that you test positive.

We suggest bookmarking our COVID TRAVEL INFORMATION PAGE. We try to keep that page constantly updated with the latest in regards to the effects of the pandemic on Israeli travel.

“I Want to Book Now!”

For two years tourism in Israel has been mostly nonexistent. Many tours were scheduled for 2020, 2021 and 2022 that never happened and were put on hold or rescheduled.

If you have a desire to visit Israel (and we think you should!) don’t wait to book! The pent up desire and those tours that had to be cancelled will make for a busy time. You should schedule immediately in order to get the dates you want.

We hope you are excited for this news as much as we are! Please contact us immediately and get your free proposal for your tour. If you decide to book, we require no money until 120 days prior to your tour, so there’s no reason not to book!

We look forward to hearing from you and pray we will see you “next year, in Jerusalem!”
