April 13th Welcome to Israel!

Wed. Arrive Ben Gurion Airport by flight #LH686 at 3:15 PM. Meet and assist by Immanuel
Tours Representative. After border formalities & PCR test we will meet with the tour
guide and driver and start the drive up to Jerusalem! We check into the Prima Kings
Hotel. Dinner will be served in the room. overnight.

April 14th Free day in Jerusalem

Thurs. Today will be a free day in Jerusalem. This will give you the time needed to get over the
long journey and time difference. Each tour member will have to wait in his/her room
till the negative PCR test result has been received. Breakfast and Dinner will be served
at the Hotel.

April 15th Eve of Passover

Fri. We start this day on the top of Mt. of Olives overlooking the ancient and modern city of
Jerusalem, the center of the Biblical world. We walk down the “Palm Sunday Road”
(Matthew 21:1-11) via the Chapel of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem
(Matthew 23:37-39) to the Garden of Gethsemane. We continue to the Israel Museum
with the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are preserved, and the model of
the 2nd Temple period Jerusalem. We will drive by the Mahane Yehuda Shuk
(Market) and have a quick glimpse at this busy market place where the people of
Jerusalem are doing their shopping and preparations for the Seder Meal and Shabbat.
Return to the hotel for a short rest before attending the Passover Meal.

April 16th Mt. Zion – Herodion – Bethlehem

Sat. Our first stop this Shabbath morning will be at the Friends of Zion Museum. We
continue to Mount Zion. Here we will visit the Upper Room and the Church of St. Peter
in Gallicantu. We will visit the House of Caiaphas where Jesus was interrogated by the
High Priest (Matthew 26:57-68; John 18:19-27). We drive on to the Haas Promenade
where you will get a good view of Mt. Zion and the Hinnom Valley , mentioned in the
book of Joshua in the period of the settlement of the Israeli tribes in Israel, as the
boundary between the tribe of Benjamin in the north and the tribe of Judah in the
south. In the First Temple period, the valley was famous as the site of the rite of the idol
Molech (an Ammonite god), which, according to the testimony of the Bible, included a
ceremony in which boys and girls were ”consigned” to a fire. Our next stop will be at
Herodion, located east of Bethlehem, on the edge of the Judean Desert. This is one of
the most fascinating antiquities sites in the country. It was built by King Herod the
Great between 23 – 15 BC, as a combined palace and powerful fortress.
We continue to Bethlehem, the royal city of David, where Jesus was born (Luke 2).
We’ll visit the Church of Nativity and the Field of the Shepherds where the Angel
proclaimed the birth of the Savior. Here we will also visit an Olive Wood Factory and
Store before we drive back to the Prima Kings Hotel for dinner and overnight.

April 17th

Resurrection Sunday in Jerusalem! He is risen!

Early this morning we will gather at the Garden Tomb for a sunrise service with brothers
and sisters from all around the World. The rest of the day will be free day in Jerusalem.
Breakfast and dinner will be served at the Prima Kings Hotel.

April 18th Qumran – Massada – Dead Sea

Mon. Today we will enjoy a full day excursion driving out of Jerusalem through the Judean
Desert to the lowest spot on the face of the Earth – The Dead Sea. Our first stop will be
at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We will drive along the Dead Sea
shores to Massada mountain fortress, Herod’s magnificent mountaintop palace and
fortress, and scene of the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in 73AD.
From here we will drive to Ein Gedi , where young King David hid in a cave when running
from Saul and he composed several of his Psalms. We will enjoy a stop at one of the
Dead Sea beaches where we will have the opportunity to bathe in the mineral rich
waters . Our last stop will be at Genesis Land, where we will have a short camel ride in
the desert and experience the Hebrew Hospitality in Abraham’s Tent . Return to the
Prima Kings Hotel for dinner and overnight.

April 19th Jerusalem

Tues. We will have a very early start this morning. We will start the tour with a visit to the
Western Wall Tunnels. The tunnels run along approximately 488 meters of the Western
Wall, giving visitors a taste of the challenge that stood before Herod the Great during
this biggest of all his immense building projects—the expansion of the Temple Mount.
One such example is the famous western stone which is 14 meters long and weighs
almost 570 tons. Next we will visit the Davidson Center which includes the Hulda Steps
and the Southern Wall Archaeological Garden. We continue to the City of David . We’ll
make our way through Hezekiah’s tunnel (2 Chronicles 32:30) to the Pool of
Siloam where Jesus healed the man born blind (John 9). From here we will walk through
the Kidron Valley to the Lion’s Gate and to enter within the walls of the Old City of
Jerusalem, walking from the Pools of Bethesda (John 5:2-18) and along the Via
Dolorosa . We walk through the Jewish Quarter and the Cardo, Jerusalem’s main street
1500 years ago and end this day at the Western (Wailing) Wall.

April 20th Jericho – Jordan Valley – Sea of Galilee

Wed. We check out of the Prima Kings Hotel after breakfast. We depart Jerusalem and drive
along the Judean Desert to Jericho where the “walls came tumbling down.” Jericho is
most remembered for Israel’s first conquest when entering the Promised Land. Joshua
led Israel and God brought the walls down (Joshua 2ff). If was from Jericho that Elijah
crossed the Jordan and went to heaven in the chariot (2 Kings 2). Jesus healed two blind
men when leaving Jericho (Mark 10:46). From here we continue to Quaser el Yahud .
This Jordan River baptismal site is considered to be the most likely spot where Jesus
baptized by John the Baptist. (Matthew, 3: 13-17). We drive by Jericho and along the
Jordan Valley to the extensive excavations of the ancient Israelite city of Beit Shean. In
New Testament times this city became one of the 10 cities of the Decapolis (Matthew
4:25; Mark 5:20; Mark 7:31). Finally , we arrive to our hotel by the Sea of Galilee. Check
into the Ron Beach for dinner and overnight.

April 21st Around the Sea of Galilee – Nazareth

Thurs. We will start this day with an early morning e boat ride across the Sea of Galillee. Visit
to “Jesus Boat” Museum which houses a fishing boat from the time of Jesus (Matthew
4:12-25). We drive via Chorazim, a town rebuked by Jesus for its lack of faith (Matthew
11:21-23) to Mt. Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount
(Matthew 5-7). We arrive to Capernaum where Jesus lived and performed many signs
and wonders (Matthew 8:5-13). Here we will visit the ancient synagogue (Mark 1:21-
28) and the “House of Peter” (Matthew 8:14-17). Located on the northern Sea of
Galilee shore, Capernaum was the center of Jesus’ Galilean Ministry. This afternoon we
will drive to Nazareth a town in the hill country of Galilee where Jesus grew up (Matt.
2:23; Luke 1:26; Luke 2; Luke 4:16-30) to manhood. We will stop at Mt. Precipice,
the mountain from which the Nazareth people were trying to push Jesus after he
infuriated them with his sermon, declaring himself as the Messiah (Luke 4). This is
followed by a visit the Nazareth Village, an open air museum that reconstructs and
reenacts village life in the Galilee in the time of Jesus. We return to our hotel by the
Sea of Galillee in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Magdala Hotel.

April 22nd Golan Heights

Fri. Today we will have a full day tour to the Golan Heights. We will drive through the lower
region of the Hula Valley to Katzrin. The “town of the Golan” which was established in
1974. Drive up to Mt. Bental to an observation point of the Syrian border where we
can look into the ghost town of Kuneitra and the “Road to Damascus”. We will stop at
one of the sources of the River Jordan at Banias, the site of Caesarea Philippi, where the
Apostle Peter made his great confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God.
Here we will also hike to the Banias Water Fall, the biggest waterfall in Israel.
We continue to Tel Dan, the ruins of the northernmost town in biblical Israel (hence the
saying “From Dan to Beersheba) . We will have a fish lunch at restaurant
before we drive to Olea factory shop, where there will be an opportunity to buy good
olive oil cosmetic products .
This evening we will have a communion service on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

April 23rd Departure

Sat. EARLY morning check out of the hotel. Packed breakfast boxes will be arranged by the
hotel for each tour member. Drive to Ben Gurion Airport to catch the homebound flight
#LH 685 departing at 05:15 AM.
