Owning an agency and helping families maximize their vacation experience is not just a job for Johnna but a passion. She has a wealth of knowledge and loves sharing it with clients. In addition to her formal training and personal experiences she is constantly listening to podcasts, reading blogs and is active on several social media outlets dedicated solely to travel. She runs a special agency where the customer experience is utmost. She invests time and energy into all her affiliate agents and makes sure they have the tools, resources and motivation to be wildly successful.

Johnna is a lifelong travel enthusiast who owns & operates A Magical Traveler along with her husband Saul. She enjoys helping people craft the trips & experiences of their dreams. Saul works in IT and is an Elder and teacher at Celebration Church. Saul enjoys fleshing out details for travelers, so their experience is worry free!
Saul and Johnna live in Bristol, VA with their daughter and frequent travel companion, Julie.
Yoni Simmons
Yoni lives in Israel and is a highly sought after Israeli Historian and Bible Scholar. He has been described as the “best tour guide in Israel”. Yoni combines his knowledge of the Scriptures, his command of ancient and contemporary Jewish history, his gifted storytelling ability and his sense of humor to create an experience of a lifetime.

Day 1 – Welcome to Israel!
Sun, 25th January 2026
Meet, assist, at the Ben Gurion Airport, from here we will drive to Old Jaffa (New Testament Joppa)
where Jonah boarded a ship for Tarshish (Jonah 1) and the Apostle Peter (Acts 9-10)
received God’s command to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles.
It was here that Peter stayed in the home of Simon the Tanner. It was also here that Peter brought Tabitha
back from the dead (Acts 9:36- 43) and check into the Resort Hadera by the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 2
Mon, 26th January 2026
Our first full day of touring begins with a visit to the ruins of ancient Caesarea and continues with a drive over the crest of
Mount Carmel to see the site where Elijah the Prophet overcame the Prophets of Baal in the name of the God of Israel.
Next is Megiddo, the Harmageddon of the Book of Revelation. Afternoon drive to Nazareth where Jesus lived for most of the
first 30 years of his life visiting the Basilica of the Annunciation and Nazareth Village that reconstructs and re-enacts village
life in the Galilee at the time of Jesus. Then drive on to Cana in Galilee, the scene of the wedding feast described in John
chapter 2. Finally, we arrive at the Sea of Galilee and check into the Ramot Resort Hotel for dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Day 3
Tue, 27th January 2026
The Sea of Galilee is rich in memories of the 3 years of Jesus’ ministry around its shores. We begin this day on Mt . Arbel from
which there is a wonderful panoramic view of all the surrounding areas including Mt. Hermon, and the pilgrim shrines on the NW
shores of the Sea of Galilee. We visit Magdala, the birthplace of Mary Magdalene, and the 2000 year old fishing Boat known as
“Jesus Boat”. Next is the Mount of Beatitudes the scene of the Sermon on the Mount. Nearby is Chorazim which is one of the
cities where Jesus taught. Tabgha with the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the Chapel of the Primacy. Capernaum, where Jesus did many signs and wonders where we can visit the House of Peter and the ancient synagogue. Next, we will enjoy a lunch of St. Peters Fish and take a boat ride from there across the Sea of Galilee to Tiberias where our bus awaits to take us back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Wed, 28th January 2026
We check out of the Ron Beach Hotel af ter breakfast Yardenit Baptismal site where there is an opportunity to be baptized in
the waters of the Jordan River. We then drive southwards through the Jordan Valley and along the slopes of the Gilboa
Mountains, on the slopes of which, Saul, first king of Israel, and his son Jonathan, were killed in a battle with the Philistines about
1010 B.C. and arrive at the Spring of Ein Harod. At the waters of Ein Harod, Gideon collected his people to fight the Midianites,
about 1050 B.C. as described in the book of Judges (Judges 7,7). Next, we visit the excavations of the ancient Israelite city of
Beit Shean. In New Testament times it became one of the 10 cities of the Decapolis. After the visit to this extensive site, we
continue and drive along the Jordan Valley via Jericho and up through the Judean Hills We drive to Jerusalem, the Capital City
of Israel and stop for a panoramic view over the Old and New City of Jerusalem before checking in to the Dan Jerusalem Hotel
for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Thu, 29th January 2026
This day begins with a visit to the Israel Museum with the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are preserved, and the
model of the 2nd Temple period Jerusalem. Passing by the Knesset we drive to the Yad Vashem Museum of the Holocaust
which preserves the memory of the 6 million victims of the Shoah. Continue the afternoon with a drive to Bethlehem the royal city
of King David where Jesus was born. The Church of the Nativity is reputed to be one of the oldest surviving Christian churches. Here
we have the opportunity to kneel at the place of Jesus’ birth in the Grotto of the Nativity. Before leaving Bethlehem, we shall
stop at the Shepherd’s Field where some shepherds watching their flocks were the first to whom the Angels announced the
birth of the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Then we will return to Jerusalem for dinner, after dinner we will enjoy the audio visual
Tower of David Night Spectacular. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
Fri, 30th January 2026
This morning, we depart from Jerusalem, driving through the Judean desert to Genesis Land where we will experience a short
Camel Ride in the Desert. We continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to visit the Mountain fortress of Masada, the site of
the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in 73 AD. Ascent and descend by cable car. Next there will be an opportunity to
stop by the waters of the Dead Sea – the lowest spot on the face of Earth, followed by a visit to Qumran, where the Dead Sea
Scrolls were written over 2000 years ago. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Sat, 31st January 2026
After breakfast we shall start our pilgrimage in Jerusalem with a drive to the top of the Mt. of Olives, from which Jesus ascended
to heaven after his resurrection. From the top of the Mount there is a magnifcent view over all of ancient and modern Jerusalem,
the center of the biblical world. We visit the holy shrines on the Mount and walk on down the “Palm Sunday Road” visiting the
Chapel of Dominus Flevit (Jesus wept) enroute to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations where Christ prayed
on the night of his betrayal (Lk. 22:40-46). Next we shall enter within the old walled city of Jerusalem and walk in the footsteps
of our Lord as he bore the burden of our sins to the Cross at Golgotha. We walk by the Pools of Bethesda and along the Via
Do lorosa, following the 14 Stations of the Cross from Pilate’s Judgement Hall to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In the
afternoon we shall visit the last standing remnant of the ancient Temple at the Western (Wailing) Wall. Next we shall visit the
Mt. Zion with the Upper Room and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu which is built over the Palace of Caiaphas, the High
Priest, before whom Jesus was brought for trial and sentenced to death. Beside the Church we shall see the “Roman Steps”
which were probably used by Jesus and his disciples on the day of his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane.
We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8
Sun, 1st February 2026
Today we shall visit the Temple Mount where so many of the events we read about in the Bible took place and where Jesus
taught so often. Then we shall visit the City of David the archaeological site of the city, which King David captured from
the Jebusites 3000 years ago, where we can go through Hezekiah’s Tunnel and see the Pool of Siloam where Jesus
restored the sight of the man born blind. This afternoon we will enjoy some free time in the Old City for shopping and other
private activities. Return to the Vert Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 9
Mon, 2nd February 2026
After breakfast we will start this day at the Garden Tomb and Gordon’s Golg otha, here, we will have some time for worship and
communion. We travel outside Jerusalem and visit to the Valley of Ayalon, known in history as one of the major battle
fields of the Near East. It was here that Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand still whilst he battled against the
Kings of the Amorites (Joshua 10:12). Then we drive on to Beit Shemesh and stop at the Valley of Elah where David defeated Goliath,
the Philistine giant, in a single combat. This night we will have a Farewell Dinner in a restaurant on the outskirts of Jerusalem
before we depart to the Ben Gurion airport to catch your homebound flight. The participants that will continue to the
GRAND PETRA EXTENSION, will go back to the hotel for one more night.
Day 10 – PETRA EXTENSION
Tue, 3rd February 2026
Check out of hotel. Depart from Jerusalem to Eilat. EinGedi Falls, Timnah Park (Tabernacle model). Visit Eilat Stone Factory.
Dinner and overnight at the Neptune Hotel in Eilat.
Day 11
Wed, 4th February 2026
Cross Aqaba Border into Jordan. Day trip to Petra. Extremely
Heavy Walking (horses, camels, donkeys, and carriag es are available for an extra fee).
(Lunch included, but drink is extra).
Day 12
Thu, 5th February 2026
Free time in Eilat – Check out 11:00am, of hotel. Tel Be’er Sheva.
Dinner will be taken on the way. Arrive to Ben Gurion Airport to
catch the homebound flight.
