Arrive early in Kusadasi, Turkey, where you will visit the ancient city of Ephesus, a vital center of early Christianity where Paul ministered and wrote letters to the Ephesians. Visit the ancient Greek and Roman archaeological site of Ephesus, a city famed for the Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders) and its association with the Apostle Paul, who preached and wrote extensively here. You will see iconic ruins like the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre. The excursion also includes a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed by many to be her final home and a place of pilgrimage.
Then continue to the serene island of Patmos, an island significant to Christianity as the setting for the Book of Revelation. The tour takes you to the Cave (Grotto) of the Apocalypse, where St. John the Evangelist is said to have received his vision.
