A trip to Israel is so much more than a vacation. It is a spiritual journey to the land where the Bible took place. Come join us on a journey as we travel the land from Dan to Beersheba walking through the stories of the Bible. On our last day imagine standing on the Mount of Olives, praying at the Garden of Gethsemane and celebrating the Lord’s Supper at the Garden Tomb. This is a trip of a lifetime that will change your life.
Sample Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Our Journey Begins.
Welcome!
Arrive Tel Aviv airport on El Al flight # 006 at estimated landing time 1:20pm. After border formalities, we will meet our guide & driver. ** Depending on landing time – visit Old Jaffa, the ancient port where the Apostle Peter stayed in Simon the Tanner’s house and received his vision on the rooftop, commanding him to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. Here Peter raised Tabitha from the dead and here Jonah boarded a ship for Tarshish, fleeing God’s call to Nineveh. We walk these narrow streets where Scripture unfolded and the Church’s mission to all nations began.
Transfer by special motor coach to the Resort Hadera by Jacob Hotels, dinner & overnight.
Day 2 – Caesarea – Carmel – Nazareth
We begin our day driving northwards to the ruins of the ancient city of Caesarea Maritima which was built by King Herod and later became the seat of government of the Roman governors including Pontius Pilate who sat in judgment on Jesus Christ and sentenced him to be crucified. Visit extensive excavations of the site including the harbor, the Crusader City, the theatre, the hippodrome and the Roman aquaduct. We continue and drive by Mt. Carmel, where the Prophet Elijah challenged the Priests of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-40). We then drive to Megiddo, the Armageddon of the Book of Revelation. Christian tradition has it that the final great battle of the world will be fought here. Next we continue to Nazareth, a town in the hill country of Galilee where Jesus grew to manhood. Here we will visit Nazareth Village an open-air museum that reconstructs and reenacts village life in the Galilee in the time of Jesus. We continue and drive to the Sea of Galilee and check into Ein Gev Holiday Resort, dinner & overnight.
Day 3 – Golan Heights
This morning our first stop will be at Korazim (or Corozaim), which was a small Jewish town, which Jesus used to visit and preach to its inhabitants, who refused to listen (Mat. 11,21). We then drive up to the Golan Heights passing by Katzerin “the town of the Golan” which was established in 1974 and continue on to visit Banias, the location of Caesarea Philippi where the Apostle Peter made his great confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, before continuing to Tel Dan, which was the northmost town in biblical Israel (hence the saying “from Dan to Beersheba”). Proceed to Kursi, the site traditionally linked to the Miracle of the Swine, with a scenic view over the Sea of Galilee. Return to Ein Gev Holiday Resort, dinner & overnight.
Day 4 – Sea of Galilee
The Sea of Galilee is rich in memories of the three years of Jesus’ Ministry around its shores. We begin this day with a visit to the so-called “Jesus Boat Museum”, a fishing boat of the kind used by the disciples of Jesus. We then take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Proceed to Capernaum, where Jesus dwelt after he left Nazareth and did many signs and wonders. We will visit the ancient synagogue and the nearby House of Peter. We drive on around the shores of the Sea of Galilee to visit the Mt. of Beatitudes. Next, we will visit Magdala, the birthplace of Mary Magdalene (Luke 8:2). A St. Peter’s Fish lunch is included today. Before ending this day we shall stop at the baptismal site at Yardenit by the River Jordan. Return to Ein Gev Holiday Resort for dinner & overnight.

Day 5 – Jordan Valley – Dead Sea
Today we leave the Sea of Galilee. We check out of the hotel after breakfast and drive south along the Jordan Valley to the ancient Israelite city of Beit Shean. In New Testament times this city became one of the 10 cities of the Decapolis (Matthew 4:25; Mark 5:20 ; Mark 7:31). We continue our drive along the shores of the Dead Sea – the lowest spot on the face of the Earth, and stop for a short Camel ride (not included). We pass by Qumran, where the Essenes, a Jewish religious sect, lived over 2000 years ago and wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls (which you will later see at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem). Arrive to Ein Gedi, the spring-fed oasis where young King David hid in a cave when running from King Saul and he composed several of his Psalms. Check in to the Vert Dead Sea Hotel. We will have time to enjoy the hotel facilities. You may wish to enjoy a float in the mineral rich waters of the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Masada – Eilat
After breakfast, check out form our hotel and drive to Masada, the scene of the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in 73 AD. Ascend and descend by cable car. We drive south via the Arava road and the Negev Desert to the southmost modern resort city of Eilat on the coast of the Red Sea. Check in to the Leonardo Royal Resort, Eilat. Time to enjoy water sports activities, to explore the resort city and any other personal activities. Dinner & overnight.
Day 7 – Petra
After breakfast drive to Arava border crossing and cross into Jordan. After border formalities meet your local guide and drive to Petra – the capital city of the Nabatean Arabs is one of the most famous archeological sites in the world. Here we will visit the Siq, the treasury, the Royal Tombs and more. Lunch is included today. In the late afternoon, return to the Arava border to cross back to Israel, to our hotel. Dinner & overnight: Leonardo Royal Resort , Eilat.
Day 8 – Eilat – Timna Park – Mitzpe Ramon – Beersheba – Elah Valley – Jerusalem
After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Eilat. We drive northwards via the Arava road to visit the full scale Tabernacle Model located in the desert at Timna Park. Continue our drive northwards along the Ramon Crater to Beersheba the capital city of the Negev Desert. Here we will visit Tel Beer Sheva identified with biblical Beersheba where Abraham made a covenant and gave the site its ancient name (Genesis 22:12). We continue to the Valley of Elah where the battle between David and Goliath took place (1 Samuel 17). From here we start our ascent to Jerusalem. Before checking into our hotel we will stop at an observation point for our first glimpse of Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel and the center of the Biblical world. We check into the Dan Hotel, Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 – Old City – Via Dolorosa – Herodion
After breakfast we begin with a visit to the Temple Mount, a holy site within the Old City for Jewish, Christian and Muslim people. We will then walk within the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, from the Pools of Bethesda at St. Anne, and along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Then we shall drive out of Jerusalem to visit Herodion Park, a blend of natural hill and human ingenuity, stands as a bold statement of King Herod’s ambition. This ancient fortress- palace, constructed in the first century BCE, is a testament to the grandeur and complexity of ancient architecture. Dinner & overnight at the Dan Hotel, Jerusalem
Day 10 – Jewish Quarter
After breakfast we will drive to the Old City and walk through the Jewish Quarter by Hezekiah’s Wall and the Cardo. Proceed for a visit to the Temple Institute and the Jerusalem archaeological park, where excavations have revealed many remains of the Herodian period which include the Southern Steps known as the Hulda Steps leading up to the Temple Court. From here we will walk to the Western (Wailing) Wall the most holy shrine for the Jewish people. We will visit the Western Wall Tunnels. The tunnels run along approximately 488 meters of the Western Wall, giving visitors a taste of the challenge that stood before Herod the Great during this biggest of all his immense building projects, the expansion of the Temple Mount. One such example is the famous western stone which is 14 meters long and weighs almost 570 tons. Dinner & overnight at Dan Hotel, Jerusalem
Day 11 – New City
After breakfast we proceed to the New City of Jerusalem to visit the Yad Vashem Memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and Israel Museum where we shall see the Model of Ancient Jerusalem which gives an excellent view if Jerusalem of Jesus’ days and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Today is the eve of the Shabbat , we will enjoy a visit to the Mahane Yehuda open market to experience the shopping for the Shabbat Dinner. Dinner & overnight Dan Hotel, Jerusalem
Day 12 – Jerusalem
Depart the hotel after breakfast. Drive to the top of the Mount of Olives, for a majestic view over all of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the biblical world. We walk down the “Palm Sunday Road”, to the Garden of Gethsemane where he prayed on the night of his betrayal (Lk. 22:40-46). We then visit to the Garden Tomb and Gordon’s Golgotha. Here we will have some time for worship and communion. Return to the Dan Hotel, Jerusalem for dinner & overnight.
Day 12 – City of David – Mt. Zion – Farewell Dinner – Departure
We check out of the hotel after breakfast. We start our last touring day with a visit to the excavations at the City of David, the archaeological site where we can go through the Hezekiah’s Tunnel and visit the Pool of Siloam where Jesus gave sight to the man born blind. Here we will have some time for prayer and reflection. We will also walk along the Pilgrims Road. More than two thousand years ago, this magnificent street formed the beating heart of Jerusalem during the second Temple period. This road carried generations of worshippers on their ascent to the Holy Temple. We then drive to Mt. Zion and visit the Upper Room, the Tomb of King David and House of Caiaphas, Jaffa Gate & the Hidden Gate. We will enjoy some free time in the Old City for last minute shopping . We end this tour with a Farewell Dinner at a restaurant before we proceed to Ben Gurion Airport to catch our homebound flight El Al # 005 departing at 00:45 am (October 26th).
