Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Israel!

Wednesday 07 October 2026

Arrival in Ben Gurion Airport. After border formalities, assist through passport control and luggage collection, meet your Immanuel Tours tour guide as well as your bus driver and transfer to our hotel in Tel Aviv for check in, dinner and overnight. Metropolitan Hotel

Day 2 – Thursday 08 October 2026

Jaffa – Caesarea – Mt. Carmel – Megiddo – Nazareth Village

After breakfast we check out of our hotel. We start the Israel tour at Old Jaffa Port (New Testament Joppa) where Jonah boarded a ship for Tarshish (Jonah 1) and the Apostle Peter (Acts 9-10) received God’s command to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. It was here that Peter stayed in the home of Simon the Tanner. We drive northwards through the Mediterranean coastal road to the ruins of the ancient city of Caesarea Maritima which was built by King Herod and later became the seat of government of the Roman governors including Pontius Pilate who sat in judgment on Jesus Christ and sentenced him to be crucified. Visit the extensive excavations of the site including the harbor, the Crusader City, the theatre, the hippodrome and the Roman Aquaduct. We continue and drive by Mt. Carmel, where the Prophet Elijah challenged the Priests of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-40). Our next stop is at Megiddo, the Armageddon of the Book of Revelations. Christian tradition has it that the final great battle of the world will be fought here. Drive to Nazareth, a town in the hill country of Galilee where Jesus grew to manhood. Here we will visit Nazareth Village. Drive through Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed his first miracle at the wedding feast (John 2:1-11). We arrive in our hotel by the Sea of Galilee in the late afternoon and check in for dinner and overnight. Ma’agan Holiday Village

Day 3 – Friday 09 October 2026

Sea of Galilee

The Sea of Galilee is rich in memories of the three years of Jesus’ Ministry around its shores.  We begin this day with boat ride and time of worship on the Sea. Continue to visit “Jesus Boat”, a fishing boat of the kind used by the disciples of Jesus. We continue to Capernaum, where Jesus dwelt after he left Nazareth and did many signs and wonders, to visit the ancient synagogue and the nearby House of Peter.  We drive around the shores of the Sea of Galilee to visit the Mt. of Beatitudes, Korazim (or Chorazim), which was a small Jewish town, which Jesus used to visit and to preach to its inhabitants, who refused to listen (Mat. 11,21). Next we will visit Magdala, the birth town of Mary Magdalene. Before ending this day, we shall stop at Yardenit baptismal site by the River Jordan. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4 –  Saturday 10 October 2026

Golan Heights

This morning we drive up to the Golan Heights passing by Katzrin “the town of the Golan” which was established in 1974 and continue on to Mt. Bental from where there is an observation point over the whole region and onto the ghost town of Kuneitra. Next we stop at the Banias, the location of Caesarea Philippi where the Apostle Peter made his great confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, before continuing to Tel Dan, which was the north most town in biblical Israel (hence the saying “from Dan to Beersheba”). Return to our hotel by the shores of the Sea of Galilee, for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 –  Sunday 11 October 2026

Beit Shean – Qumran – Dead Sea

This morning we leave the Sea of Galilee region. Drive along the slopes of the Gilboa Mountains, on the slopes of which Saul, first king of Israel, and his son Jonathan, were killed in a battle with the Philistines about 1010 B.C. We visit the excavations of the ancient Israelite city of Beit Shean. In New Testament times it became one of the 10 cities of the Decapolis. After the visit to this extensive site, we continue and drive along the Jordan Valley and the plains of Jericho to the Dead Sea. Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were written over 2000 years ago and some were discovered in the same place. Continue south, check in to your hotel on the Dead Sea shores, the lowest spot on earth. Free time to enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Day 6 –  Monday 12 October 2026

Massada – Ein Gedi – Jerusalem

Check out after breakfast. Visit the Mountain fortress of Massada, the site of the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in 73 AD. Ascent and descend by cable car. Continue to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Ein Gedi is enumerated among the cities of  the Tribe of Judah in the desert. Later, King David hides in the desert of Ein Gedi (1 Samuel 24:1-2) and King Saul seeks him “even upon the craggiest rocks, which are accessible only to wild goats” (1 Samuel 24:2). Drive via the Judean Desert, passing by Ancient Jericho and the Judean Hills, we finally arrive to Jerusalem, the City of God, the ancient and modern capital of Israel. This afternoon we will visit the Israel Museum where we shall see the Model of Ancient Jerusalem which gives an excellent view of Jerusalem during Jesus’ days and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Before checking in to our hotel, we stop on top of Mt. Scopus for a breathtaking view over the City of Jerusalem, modern & ancient capital of Israel. Check in to our hotel for dinner & overnight. Day 7 –  Tuesday 13 October 2026

Temple Mount – Western Wall – Davidson Center – City of David

This morning we will rise and leave early to visit the Temple Mount. We will visit the Western Wall, the last standing remnant of the ancient Temple and the holiest place to the Jewish people. We will also tour the incredible Rabbinical Tunnels. We will visit the Davidson Center, see the Robinson’s Arch and the ancient Southern Steps. Then we will visit the “City of David” archaeological site where we may go through Hezekiah’s Tunnel which leads to the Pool of Siloam in the Kidron Valley where Jesus restored the sight of the man born blind. if time allows we will walk to the Jewish Quarter and visit the Herodian Mansion. Return to our hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 8 – Wednesday 14 October 2026

Shiloh – Yad Vashem – Machne Yehuda Market

This morning we will journey to the Biblical Land of Samaria to visit Ancient Shiloh, where the Ark of the Covenant was located for more than 300 years. During our visit in Shiloh, we will have a special time of worship and prayer as we pray for many couples (based on 1 Samuel 1) who are longing to have a child – biologically or through adoption. Return to Jerusalem to visit Yad Vashem – Holocaust Memorial Museum. This is Israel’s memorial to the 6 million Jews who were put to death by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime of Germany during the days of WWII. This is a moving experience that includes a visit to the children’s museum in memory of the 2 million children who were sent to their deaths at the hands of the Nazis. We end this day with a visit to Machne Yehuda Market. It is very alive, colorful and crowded market. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 –  Thursday 15 October 2026

Bethlehem – Palm Sunday Road – Old City – Garden Tomb – Tel Aviv

We begin this day after breakfast, we will drive to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds Field where the Angel of the Lord proclaimed the birth of the Savior. Return to Jerusalem driving to the top of the Mount of Olives, for a majestic view over all of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the biblical world.  We walk down the “Palm Sunday Road”, via the Chapel of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem to the Garden of Gethsemane where he prayed on the night of his betrayal (Lk. 22:40-46). Next we shall enter within the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, walking from the Pools of Bethesda and along the via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Mt. Zion for a visit to the Upper Room, the Tomb of King David and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. End this memorable day and tour with a visit to the Garden Tomb and Gordon’s Golgotha where we will have communion together. Late afternoon drive to Tel Aviv for our last night of this Journey. Check in to the Metropolitan Hotel. Farewell meeting with Immanuel-Tours representative, which will be followed by dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 10 – Friday 16 October 2026

Day at leisure in Tel Aviv

After breakfast – day at leisure in Tel Aviv. Bus & guide are not provided for this day.
We can visit Jaffa Old city and Port with the colorful Flee Market, the Carmel Market with its special atmosphere, smells and tastes, other places of interest or just relax and walk by the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 11 – Saturday 17 October 2026

DEPARTURE

Drive to Ben Gurion Airport for our departure flight. Flying back home with wonderful and remarkable memories and prayers for NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM.
